This Provo City Center Temple Wedding was beautiful! It was so fun getting to explore the grounds of the new Provo City Temple with Rachel & Max and we got some lovely photos of them. Also, I loved getting to shoot this wedding with Eden Strader Photography it was so great getting to work with her!
The Vista Room at Cedar Hills Reception Venue, had beautiful views and was the perfect setting for Rachel and Max’s reception. The big windows let in a ton of natural light and the mountains in the distance were incredible. The reception was a ton of fun, one of the highlights of the evening was during the cake cutting when the cake knife broke!

Hi! I love your work! You guys are amazing. 🙂
So I have a question. I’m doing a wedding at The Vista at Cedar Hills soon, and I’m wondering if you guys ended up needing to use light during the reception or if the open windows allowed enough light to come in. My reception is from 6:30 to 8:30, so the sun will barely be setting after 8.
Thanks!
Allen
Hey Allen and thank you for your kind words!
We ended up not needing flash during the reception. Our camera’s do well with high ISO and we shoot wide open at 1.4 most of the time so we were able to get by with just available light. I think if your camera’s ISO is usable up to 5000 ISO you shouldn’t need flash, but I would maybe bring your flash just to be safe :). Let us know if you have any further questions we’d love to help!
